  2. Like I've said before everyone is entitled to their opinion, I also said I will not discuss club affairs on a public forum, however feel free to contact me personally I will be happy to try and answer any of your questions, telephone number is on the website.
  3. 4-5-1, I have read all of the comments on this thread, some are laughable, some are fair comments, some are pathetic however, everyone is entitled to their opinion but to be honest I'm not going to discuss club issues on a public forum, all that matters is the people at the club, anyone associated with it and everyone at the club knows where they stand. With some of the comments on here it seems some people seem to know the club better then me. Decisions at the club are made by the club's management committee and not solely me, I made that clear when I became chairman. We are very fortunate to have good, hardworking honest people at Knaphill and long may that continue. In the last two seasons we have had hit a brick wall but I'm confident we will bounce back stronger and move on. We are in it for the long haul, not the short haul. I'm sure most chairman will echo my comments, all clubs have their ups & downs on and off the pitch and we are no different.
  4. He is IP and of course he has played a higher level and is more then a half decent striker but I've played with, coached, managed and managed against Matt Baker, he's been consistent since Knaphill's arrival in the CCL and he has carried it on at Eversley. Ross scored two hat tricks in division one against us last season and his goal return then was formidable, again he has carried that on into the Premier this season.
  5. Ross Allen - Guernsey - Premier Division Matt Baker - Eversley - Division One Both players head and shoulders above the rest.
  6. So then Shutton if your a former manager and player who are you? However, looking at your name I think I've got an idea who you are, did you start up and run AFC Bisley by any chance? And for the record I'm David Freeman, Chairman, Knaphill Football Club, I think, sorry I know I'm qualified to remember all players and managers who have been at the club since 1995 although I've only been Chairman since October 2011.
  7. Unbelievable! - Having read all the c*** about, Rumours it is, worse then b****y women!
  8. Knaphill v Chertsey Town, Redding Way, Kick Off 3pm Farnborough North End v Knaphill Reserves, Frogmore, Kick Off 3pm
  9. At Redding Way, Knaphill the pitch drainage has been addressed so hopefully less chance of a waterlogged pitch. Pitch has been seeded and awaiting top soil to be put down Home Dressing Room has been refurbished and decorated Clubroom and rest of the building is being decorated Home & Away Dug Outs can now sit 12 people, it was originally eight but four seats in each dug out are being installed in front of the existing seating More fence screening is being put up to help enclose the ground more Post & Rail surrounding the pitch will also be 'enclosed' Clubroom is having a bar put in hopefully by the start of the season Clubroom is having a new layout including new furniture Plus numerous other bits & pieces Apart from that, not a lot happening!....
  10. NG, Yes Jonny Coats did play although it was not one of his best performances, good prospect though!, Why you ask?
  11. Knaphill Football Club are pleased to announce the following first team pre-season friendlies ahead of the 2012/13 season which starts back on Saturday 4th August. 12. Knaphill U18's hopes of ending the season with silverware were dashed as they were beaten 4-1 by there higher rank opposition Camberley Town U18's in theGrant McLellen CCL Youth Cup Final on Thursday night. Despite taken the lead through leading goalscorer Josh Hughes, clinical finishing proved the difference between the two sides and Camberley finished as worthy winners. The final was marred as no fewer then four cars were broken into in the Cobham FC car park, three cars owned by Knaphill players and one from Camberley.
  13. At the third time of asking, the youth team will go head to head with Camberley Town U18's as they look to seal a second impressive season with victory in the Grant McLellen CCL Youth Cup Final at Cobham FC on Thursday night. Knaphill U18's will look to go one better then last season as they bid to win the Grant McLellen CCL Youth Cup for first time in their two year history. Last season saw us lose to Bedfont Sports in the final and this time round we face Camberley Town U18's . Camberley run two under 18's side, one in the Allied Counties Premier and one in the Ryman League so no doubt tonight's fixture will provide a stern test for Gary Taylor's talented team. However, the young guns cup exploits are one on the main highlights of their campaign and they more then capable of beating higher ranked opposition on their day. Gary Taylor will have a full squad to choose from including leading goalscorer Josh Hughes pictured, who can provide a real handful, something S andhurst Town witnessed when he netted six goals in a 7-4 win a month ago. Camberley's route to the final: First Round Bye Sandhurst Town 4-0 Horley Town 5-0 Bedfont Sports 2-0 Knaphill's route to the final: Guildford City 6-3 Eversley 1-0 Molesey 5-4 win on pens, 1-1 AET Epsom & Ewell 1-0 Kick off is 7.45pm at Cobham FC
