Despite the above optimism, the earlier than expected rain means there is a question mark over the pitch at Ashford.  Ground report is that the pitch is still OK as at 4.45 pm but if it continues to rain heavily, there could just be a problem.  Match referee expects to be there by 6.00 pm.

Although at this moment it is more likely to be on than off, If anyone is going though, best ring club 01784 245908 before travelling.

Other matches off as per Chris's post above.  Knaphill also subject to a late inspection.

I have not heard anything from any of the clubs playing in cup matches.

What a difference. Officials top class and sympathetic towards the conditions. Both sides wanted to play and it showed. A very entertaining game where the time flew by.

I felt that once Ashford went 2-0 up they took their foot off the gas. Windsor deserved something for their efforts but to no avail.

Second half and we were awesome. Great pace, movement and passing and in next to no time we were level. A deserved winner on the verge of 90 minutes secured the points.

And a special thanks to Ashford Town. Great people, knowledgeable and extremely gracious in defeat. Good luck for the rest of the season.

Talking of Sark, I see our old friends from Guernsey got thrashed again last night at Hythe - they've shipped more goals than any other team in that division despite playing more than half their games at home and without Ross Allen they don't score as many these days.

Maybe they want to come back to the CCL so they can win the Premier, rather than the lucky runners-up they were last time  ;)
