27th-29th October Matches

It's an old joke Chris

There is only ever 1 team that can win the title

I think it is still open to three maybe four teams but there is still a long way to go

I have been to a few matches this year and it seems to me ( correct me if I am wrong ) that sides that play the game on the deck and pass Ndove seem to be doing well at the moment

Certainly a fact. Only one team WILL win the title. Which one we may know by the year end.

You must be as old as me cos that is old Skool banter

You look a lot younger however lol

Watch out mate Souness will be knicking your lines.  2 of his best so far this season.

"If you want to win this league this year you will have to finish above Chelsea and Man City"

"The only way they will win today is if they score goals"

2 Classics :)

Rich I have no idea if it's the same pitch bit chances are the ground is basically the one

Friends provident on the other side of the road would be a possible alternative

Lot of old buildings in pic ham lane mean only so much space was available and of course water

Thanks tsf. I'm certain it was nearer the station than Friends Provident though, as Epsom or their opponents occasionally chose to defend the station end, meaning Deepdene Station.

We may have to move this to the railway forum Rich and JR!

Where were the stations in 1890? :)

STATIONARY ??

Dorking North and Deepdene, some 200 yards apart near the Pixham ground.

Dorking West station about a mile to the North West overlooking the town.
