Evo-Stik Northern Premier League First Division South club Tividale are looking forward to honouring the nation's servicemen and women for the first time since installing a war memorial at their ground.

The club unveiled their own tribute to the local war dead of Tividale and Rowley in August, with members of the armed forces on hand alongside club member Clive Billingham to help dedicate a new Remembrance Wall in the clubhouse at The Beeches.

As the country prepares for Remembrance Sunday, Dale announced on Thursday that all members of the armed forces, emergency services and their related youth organisations, will be admitted for free to their clash with Carlton Town on Saturday 8th November.

In the statement, the club said: "On the weekend of the 8th and 9th November the country will remember and honour the brave men and women who fought during the two world wars and later conflicts, giving their all to provide security for our nation.

"With this in mind Tividale FC and our recently installed memorial to the local fallen of Tividale and Rowley in the clubhouse, we feel that this gesture may now be even more poignant than ever."
