The only game in the Ryman League Division One North on Wednesday night produced six goals, as Cray Wanderers and Aveley played out a 3-3 draw.

The result saw The Wands move above Great Wakering Rovers to twenty-first position, whilst Aveley moved to fourteenth.

Aveley took the lead on fourty-four minutes when Marcus Elliott slotted away the rebound from Ogeji Uzokwe's initial shot.

The visitors took a two-goal lead only two minutes after the interval as former Wands defender Julian Baker struck into an empty net.

The hosts pulled a goal back on fifty-eight minutes as Ishmael Welsh crossed for Ian Daly to head home.

Abidemi Qudus Bolangi was then dismissed for The Wands for a professional foul on Uzokwe.

Aveley extended their lead on seventy-one minutes through Danny Francis, before the ten-man hosts amazingly hit back through a brace from Rory Hill.
