Its stating the obvious that this is the proverbial banana skin.

after the lord mayors show and all of that.

I trust the players take on board what TB will be yelling that this probably even more importan to wim  than tuesdays game .

I note that barton did not have a game midweek-but would like to think the margate players are not tired and flat after tuesday.

C'mon Margate

lets have a bit of an FA Cup run for a change

Up the 'Gate

taylor and prior up front-hardly weakens the side does it-some may even say it strengthens it.

at start of season,i though JP would be no 1 striker-and he may still be that man.both should be hungry to stake a claim for regular starts.

good move by TB imo;albeit i am surprised he has announced it this early.

equally happy to have a proper full back at left back-and hoefully Allen will be fit enough to start.very important game imo.

obviousl want to win tomorrow and tuesday, but given the choice-i'd rather win tomorrow and lose tuesday than other way around.

some day we will come unstuck when least expected-just hope its not tomorrow.

you only get one (well sometimes two) chances to win a cup game.

Cash is correct-progress in the cups gives an extra stimulus all round

I simply blame the person who showed TB the rule book thatstates :'Margate are not allowed under the rules of the competition to win cup ties '.

hacked off for anther 12 months now.

still TB guaranteed at the fans forum that 'we will beat slough in the trophy '

its days like today when it really gets to you ,and you think 'what might have been'

Unlike a few-not obsessed with maidstone-and would actually like to see both clubs go up ;but i look at their cup draw, and it makes saturday even harder to swallow.

Just want to win the FA trophy now, the robert dyas cup and the KSC.

I hope all three remaining cup competitions are taken very seriously

You are right michael, of course the cup matters. Everybody says trust TB, well hes gutted and in his interview you can tell the cup means something to him.

So everybody on f***book who say oh never mind its only the fa cup, we can concentrate on the league i think are wrong.

A good cup run is higely important, not only financially but to raise the profile of the club.

After Kingstonian winning last night at least Terry can get the players together on sat 11th oct for some much needed extra training.

My opinion is the guys didnt look up for it against a lower league side and with the many changes enforced onto us due to injuries - time to regroup shake off the cobwebs and start again - we're out of the FA Cup..................oh well :(

naturally pleased with the win tonight'albeit would gladly have taken a loss tonight in favour of a win on saturday.

I'm struggling with it-but i guess you have to move on and can't influence the past.

the other good news is of course that Margate are now 23 points clear of the relegation zone, and 'safety ' creeps every closer
