Yes, not SSML related other than AFC Dunstable could now meet Bedfont & Feltham:

Yet another match report stolen from another forum by me without crediting the original author.

The operative word being COULD - suggesting they may not, although given Uxbridge's start it's not beyond the realms of possibility that they will.

However if they don't, cribbing a report between a COCO team and a Southern League team and putting it on the SML forum just reinforces people's well-documented viewpoints...

It's not the amount of goals scored in extra time that is surprising but that extra time was played.

I thought first games level at 90 mins go to a replay

I think it's a shame that the FA took away the chance to finish the game the 1st time around. If both matches are going to run at a loss, the side who loses the replay has a double whammy.

I also don't understand why both the "extra time" and "kicks from the penalty mark" parts are still on the match arrangement form when they are now not allowed in 1st game anyway.

Could it be that the form is used for all four FA competitions

.

Why did they though because we had replays in the last round?

Have officials [****!!****]ed up?

Indeed it is, but extra time is mandatory in vase and youth cup, and now not allowed in FA Cup, and presumably Trophy. Therefore no need for that.

Not sure on rules on going to KFTPM after extra time in 1st vase game though, if that has to go to a replay after 120 mins though, then that box is redundant too

Not at all, ALL games that finish level after 90 minutes now HAVE to go to a replay.

In the past clubs were allowed to agree to go to extra time and KFTPM in the 1st fixture, should they have decided in was in their interests.

Clubs may mutually agree in the FA Vase to have penalties in the first match after extra time.

Going to be a fecking long season for Winslow, just have to tough it out. More players have left, going to have to find something from somewhere or we might end up with a worse record than new Bradwell the other season. Still could be worse we could have claimed we were gonna walk the league and embarrass everyone put in front of us..... ooooops

Sad situation for two likeable clubs in this part of the world. Both Winslow and Grendon Rangers are not in particularly good shape at this moment in time. On the plus side, Scott Reynolds is an enthusiastic character and he'll be working his butt off to turn the tide.

He is working hard, he's been let down by a few and had a hard job starting so late. First few months were always going to be tough. Hopefully as sides settle down he might be able to start improving the squad as certain players are not getting in other teams. I still think we will finish outside relegation places. I heard that a former match secretary was pleased WGC liked our new manager better than the last one!!!!! I mean that's important after you've been beaten 5-0, much more likeable than a manager who gets results against you. Just shows the backward mentality of a few at our club, they'd rather be the friendly whipping boys. Winslow now have to play long game with Scott and youth team and try and build a competitive side based on a large core of local players.

FA CHALLENGE CUP Preliminary Round

1-2 Hanwell Town v Biggleswade United

Result of the day, Biggleswade United beating Hanwell Town in The FA Cup.

I know how Savagebee feels - they did it to us last season...

Yeah we never turned up yesterday and played the game like it was a pre - season game. Biggleswade United FC are a nice club and good luck to them in the next round.

Yes, Savagebee is conspicuous by his absence isn't he

I had better things to do yesterday and unlike you Mr Rhodes this forum is not my life.

What game did you go to yesterday Mr Rhodes ? out of interest of course.
