Of course it was. Amazing how many times those lights fails when things aren't going the right way . . . I can recommend a good electrician if required . . .

Surely you aren't suggesting sabotage or foul play???

Of course not! Why would anyone suggest such a thing with just 20mins to go . . . losing at home . . . and not looking like getting through to another lucrative tie??? With all St.Mags history of fair play and sportsmanship? Are you insane man?

What can I say, what you know about football can be written on the back of a postage stamp and there would still be room for War and Peace

Fantastic cup tie at Hadley tonight. Wgc really played well in first half scoring 2 and hitting post amd bar. Hadley came back in second half, had a penalty shout and put Citizen's under loads of pressure. Joe Croft (who I have said before could play at a higher level) made two great saves and was brilliant as were the WGC backline. They'll give Saffron Walden a good game.

Well done to Adam Fisher and all at WGC

I was at this game. Welwyn Garden City were much the better team in the first half and were good value for their lead.

Hadley got back into it after the break with a goal and from that moment on they dominated play but could not get another goal to force extra time.

Have I attended more Welwyn Garden City fixtures this season than Karen Brown?

A big well done to Adam and his team.

It's looks like the whole town has finally got behind its team with the work and support that has been going on.

Good news for non league football!

One of our main fuses blew 15 minutes into the first half last night...the committee guys worked hard to repair and managed to get 5 out of the 6 working but the ref was playing the safety card. So the game was abandoned at half time.

The whole area had a problem last year with a power cut but the game had finished.
