Attendance 142

Suarez scored with a low 18-yard shot in the tenth minute, and after that Urchins had much the better of a pretty good game.

Tobi Joseph almost found the net with a snapshot which Wright saved well.

Davis should have scored from Dadson's superb cross on 23 minutes but headed over; then, just afterwards, Bourne went clear but hit a post.

Close to half time Mott saved from Church.

On 52 minutes a Davis free kick went over the bar, and on 65 minutes Hunior Luke cut in from the right and his shot was saved by the keeper.

Two minutes later Mott made a good save following a Stortford corner.

Elliot Styles had two shots blocked at close range after a free-kick and Hursit put an absolute screamer an inch or two wide from 25 yards as soon as he came on.

This was Hornchurch’s first defeat of the season but they played well against the Conference South team and did enough to deserved a draw at least.
