Players for team of the year div 1

Recommended Posts

Think it's when we played them they didn't do much against us. Thinking more about it I would prob take kenna out and have the captain or mr Flanagan at the back also rate your keeper. It is a difficult one to choose from though isn't it. Would of picked shrieves from Crawley but he has missed slot if the season.

Not a full team, but these players particularly impressed me when I've seen them this season.

GK- Bedford's young keeper, seems a bright talent for his age- as does Winslows. The Amersham keeper who went to Aylesbury FC- forgot his name. All very very good.

Defence- 'Jakub' from Winslow, Flanagan from Bedford, the captain of Arlesey Res (very good player in an otherwise poor side). Max from sun postal I also rate. Paul Donnely at Cod.

Midfield- Kenna, Rocco, Drew Mitten (think he's midfield?) unsure on others.

Strikers: Armstrong, Ash Farmer (farmer may not be correct, but definitely Ash- tall fella up top for Bedford).

All I can think of really

Think Mitten, V Shrieves, Jakub and Seanla from

us would get in most sides and young Freshwater at 17 is outstanding. I would say Seanla hasn't been consistent enough this year, started at Bedford Town came back to is and has been injured several times. Some very good players in this div Sun, KL, bedford

Oh yeh! Forgot POD. Wonderful little player

Could play a lot higher, Barton and Dunstable were both sniffing for a while but he's been at crawley since he was about 9, loves the club, lives next door, and we're lucky to have him.

Jonny Butler, hasn't played often enough at left back but when he does he is by far one of the better left bks I've seen, again could play higher in that position, but he prefers playing further fwd and the lack of options we've had going fwd has meant he spent more time lft mid.

If there is a better center half at this level than Derek Brown I have yet to see him, to think the guy is 40 and still has a lot of class. His header against Buckingham rolled back the years, tremendous header, can't remember the last time I saw a header of that ilk. Looks like we may well get another year out of him and he will be joining the coaching staff for next season. Has been a massive asset to Ryan Freshwater and it is no surprise that Ryan has come on leaps and bounds since playing alongside Browny.
