Just heard a rumour that they've withdrawn from the league (2 weeks before the start!)

Anyone know anything?

OD's - Here's a task for you, when you're there on Saturday maybe you can find out what's actually going on and report back to us

Will be at our 1st team FA Cup game.

It seems strange as MK Wanderers are a big club at youth level but cannot get the seniors right.

Word has it that the North Bucks team's manager has left the club and also taken his side to be the new City Colts Reserves. Strange decision to drop back down to the Intermediate division from the Premier if true though! Losing two managers seems a bit careless.

Their reserves were miles better than 1st team they reserve manager applied at us and got some serious consideration

If PF and his players were prepared to play Sth Mids football at Winslow but are now moving down to Nth Bucks Intermediate together, what the fooking hell were MKW's doing overlooking him for Terry Hill? And, to make it perfectly clear, I dont mean that to be an insult to Terry.

Looks like they've folded that team as well now! What a shambles they are.

Their Community Webpage is still active, there must be some under-lying problem, such as lack of funding, if, despite good intentions, the Club can't seem to keep their head above water:

Not being funny, they should not rely on a sponsor and if they think £3K would see them through, they are bigger mugs than I thought.
Also according to their website, players pay an yearly fee to play anyway. So if a squad of 18 x £192 = £3456, job done if they thought £3K would see them through.
Load of bo**ocks

£3k would one hell of a sponsorship deal for a division 2 club without any support. There were only 6 watching when I played there last season & 4 of those came with us. I doubt there are many clubs in the premier that could command that sort of deal from an independent sponsor. Or am I out of touch with these things?

The bottom line is they just couldn't raise a squad this season , the manager walked because if this a week before .

You are never ever going to attract decent players who will pay £192 per season. They seem to be well out of touch.
