Sad news as far as I am concerned - Steve and Sharon have worked tirelessly and done a fantastic job for this club.
Hopefully, they will be able to find the right buyer who will be able to move the club forwards in a sustainable manner but let's face it, the economy is hardly booming along is it.
Come on you Blues!!

In agreement with jl when they took over Billericay were on the way down and struggling and they have turned the club around with all their hard work,
And the majority of the Blues fans are very grateful for all they have done since they have been at the club.
Hopefully the right person will come along and carry on all the good work.
Thank you.

A bit of a shock…as mentioned above Steve and Sharon have done a huge amount for the club and have worked tirelessly and selfishly to make it a 'going concern', I wish them all the best and hope whoever takes the reins is as capable, motivated and continues in the same vein as them.

Sad news.
They came in and saved the club at a time when we were in real danger of going under. Steve and Sharon have worked very hard for the club and will leave us with a great legacy and sound base to take the club forward.

I'm surprised and disappointed, but I thank Steve and Sharon for all their hard work and wish them the best for the future. Whoever comes in the most important thing is we continue in a sustainable manner

In their first season they took on a club on its uppers. In their last season they leave us in the Conference South and debt free. I think that's a pretty good legacy and I thank them for that.
I don't see this as a negative thing but a chance for somebody genuine to come in (and it aint all about da money) to push us towards the top end of this league and one day knock on the door of the Conference National. There's plenty of potential here to do so.

I must say I am suprised but as many have said they leave the club with a far brighter future than the one they took over.
I thank them both for their sustained efforts over the past few years and am delighted for them both that they leave after such a great couple of seasons. Many don't see the improvements that they have done behind the scenes to have the club in such good shape and that shows the type of people that they are.
I like many hope they hang around not to just support the club but to also coach any new owner into the role.

Steve and Sharon - two of the good guys in my book. I never feared for the Club's future in their hands. I hope we can be so lucky going forward.
Thanks for the safe hands, and the silverware.Well deserved! I hope you won't be strangers.

Like I've posted elsewhere today, both Steve and sharon can walk away with their heads held high, I don't think many clubs around our area are in a financial position as us.
I'm sure Steve will only be accepting to someone who has the right attitude towards our club as we have, like Ryan this could prove to be a very promising move in the right direction for us!
Can't wait to get going and see what this BSBS is all about!

I think you are lucky to have someone like steve who will obviously only part with the club to the right person(s),other clubs have gone downhill or into bad hands but am sure this won't happen with you.

Can only re-iterate everything that has been said already, a top job to bring the club to where it is now. Will be sad to see both Steve and Sharon go, glad they will be sticking around to find the right fit for the club it shows their continued commitment to this club.

Sad news indeed - And i too would like to add big thanks for all Steve and Sharon have done for the club . They stuck with it through some extremely thin times and can be monumentally proud of what they have achieved and what we have been left with.
Thankyou

think this is exciting news if im honest, Steve and Sharon has done a great job. Lets hope some rich Arab is reading this though
A tad insensitive I'd say and exciting is perhaps the last thing I'd call it.
This could have a very unsettling impact on the club/team. Fingers crossed something can be sorted out.

How is that insensitive? Too many doom and gloom merchants about these days, cheer up.
We've just got promoted, no debts why wouldnt someone want to buy us?
Ryan can you save me a copy of the Gazette? Thanks

I would imagine that Steve and Sharon have put the club up for sale with a very heavy heart. Responding with this is exciting news is as I said a tad insensitive.
