The affluent leafy town of Ampthill is currently being discussed on Radio 2. Nothing to do with football, but to do with a tattoo parlour that has opened in the town & some locals don't like it.
The burning question is has anyone gone in there asking for "I Love Craig Bicknell" to be tattooed on their bum ?

LOL before Rhodes adds his usual dribble on the
matter suggesting myself and a few others would be prime candidates.....I'll have to rule myself out as I've already got I love myself tattooed on one cheek and No Entry to 6 inches or more tattooed on the other.
Damn I'm gutted now 😥

Yes I see that it's all over the local press like a rash although I really can't see what all the fuss is about, surely it's better than a massage parlour for example:

Winslow Boy - You mean the Football Club or in the town, do you recall the buxom barmaid they had there for a couple of seasons a few years back

Hahaha no the town just found corner from ground (i am told) unfortunately I doubt the barmaid moonlighted down at the hairdressers too. It featured on some programme on a channel like Dave some years back. I never visited it by the way.

Yes, you're certainly right, here's a press extract I found:

Topless hairdresser battle will go on - 28-10-99

Mipples, the topless barber shop in New Bradwell's High Street, will
open for business on Monday despite a residents' protest led by
Beverley Scales.
The shop is being run by Gary Mernagh, son of Woburn Sands mayor
Tommy, and has attracted much controversy during the past week.
And just days before its official opening, Beverley has vowed to
continue her campaign in the hope of changing legislation regarding
councils' licensing powers.
She said: "If necessary I'll lobby Parliament as there should be some
sort of legislation for things like this. It may be too late for New
Bradwell but at least it would stop this happening in other places."
Councillor Paul Day, who represents New Bradwell, Greenleys and
Wolverton, has given his support to Beverley's campaign.
He said: "As elected councillors people expect the council to have
powers to deal with something like this. "We want to see how councils
can get the authority for licensing such premises in the future."
"But in New Bradwell's case, it seems only the number of customers
will determined whether it's a success or not."
So far Beverley has gathered 350 signatures in a petition against the
shop which she intends to present to the environment committee
meeting at Milton Keynes Council next week.
Since the story was reported in last week's Citizen, local radio and
television stations have all expressed interest, with the saucy
Sunday Sport also keen on covering it.
"Everything has gone well," said Gary. "I'm looking forward to
opening and we're anticipating a good reponse."

A little birdie tells me Rhodes has a couple of tattoos. He has "TikTok Til I Die" on his left buttock & "Clement" tattooed on his Willy.
When he's been on the Viagra though it reads "Clement Temile was once interviewed for the Nigeria job vacated by Berti Vogts" !!!

Steve - Not by Bertie Vogts himself but for the Super Eagles job Vogts had just vacated in 2008

Only you could read that sentance the way you did! Everone else reads it as "the Nigeria job vacated by Bertie Vogts". And he wasn't interviewed anyway! He was in Nigeria sourcing grapefruits for his Israeli employer.

Horace – Yes, apologies, I read Steve’s post wrong. That doesn’t take anything away from the fact however that Clement was interviewed for the vacant Nigeria job in March 2008 and made the final short list of candidates before being pipped at the post by Shuaibu Amodu:

I'm pretty sure it was established at the time he wasn't interviewed for the job. Only mention of this was from yourself ... on various Nigerian websites!!!

NF - I shall have to ask my numerous Nigerian relatives (those that send me regular e-mails telling me about my inheritances) for full details. :P
