Well at least he hasn't played for Hemel Hempstead!

This is overdue IMO. This could be just what we need, providing of course he isn't another short striker!

from the picture i saw of him he looks fairly big. has played for a fair few higher clubs and only recently released by Hitchin who seemingly were using him quite often. fingers crossed he is the man we been looking for that gives us something different up front to turn games our way

Great news hope he adds something... However this thread seems very negative about our current 2 strikers who I think have been superb this season

As it stands at the moment Slough highest win and lowest losses.
I'm finding it hard to understand what is exactly wrong ?

i think both Sonner and Burnell have been really good for us this season its just tough away games like Aylesbury and Chalfont where we couldnt get the vital goal ended up with us losing. even Burnham and Biggleswade away games spring to mind as games where we could have done with a different option to turn the game into a win. we have to be realistic and realise Danny and Sean are not always going to score and having options is vital in the quest for promotion.

as with all forward /strikers depends on the service they get up front if they have to track back just to get the ball then they will not score many goals, at times our midfield have gone walkabout, we also need a player that can sit around the opposition goal and pounce on the loose ball and put it away, i hope jerome anderson is this man.

Checking through the Hitchin website for this season,Jerome Anderson appears to be similar to Charlie Mpi,in way of the fact that he is said to be a paceman and that he was used a great deal from the bench. Although the Aylesbury United link above only credit 4 goals from 22 games, this seems like it is underselling J.A given that a lot of appearances were as a substitute.
At 23 years of age and having experienced playing in some good teams above our level, this looks on paper to be a quality signing. Also being that he scored 1 goal with his head,he may be just what we need.Let's hope so!

sounds like a good signing, lets hope he does well for us.
