Its incredible. When i first heard of St Neots i imagined they were going to be "Charlie Big spuds". However, the more i hear, the more i like about them. Determined but humble........I hope the players respond and get them 3 points.

Yes, shame it got called off in the way that it did. Opposing team pressure,
Great effort to attempt to get it on and inspected as fine.

Why do these refs allow teams to have any say!  They might have a couple of players out and are trying to pull a fast one!

Some teams with a new ground and money are unbearable, e.g. Biggleswade Town. St. Neots Town conduct themselves with great humility and dignity. Great set-up, really nice people. Hope they get promoted.

Interesting to-ing and fro-ing between the clubs on Daventry Town's forum, while their website doesn't mention the postponed game.

(Yes, Beano, Daventry Town have finally got a website, and it looks really good.)

The Daventry forum was certainly interesting reading!  A Pitchero website is infinitely better than no website at all, so I'm glad Daventry have sorted themselves something out...

I'll have to have a look at St Neots' forum later...

Fair play to Saints for trying but I did think the plan was a bit ambitious.

That idea would work for us where we struggle along the car park side in the shade of the stand.
I still think it would have been just as easy to put up a few gazebo's and use hired industrial blow heaters to pump hot air into them. then move them as required.

Anyone got any bright ideas of how to get snow off a pitch in time to get the youth game on tomorrow night?

Might give Nick Knowles and his DIY SOS team a ring, see if he has any ideas...

12 oil drums available for hire, just add wood :D

Thanks for your positive comments towards St Neots, it makes the effort involved even more rewarding regardless of the fact that it wasn't quite enough in the end.
