The answer is NO,there is a Guernsey Bookie who takes bets on their games.Think Bet365 take bets on Vase Games,and F.A Cup games,but not League Games.

Cheers guys,shame as the run in for the title could be interesting,with the weather making a poss back log of games and seeing who can cope with the tough physical end of playing back to back games,have GCfc got the ability to bounce back from the defeat to Wembley?

I don't know if Young Veteran's email is on the same wavelength as what I'm thinking but the simple fact is that if you are involved in any way in football then you are not allowed to bet on the outcome of games within the league you play in !

You are probably talking about the memo sent to all clubs earlier this week. There is absolutely no doubt, given past cases, that the FA take any breaches of their betting regulations very seriously, so it may be helpful to reproduce the memo here:
I have to bring it to the attention of all clubs that CCL “participants” (i.e. players, managers, club officials) are strictly prohibited under FA rules, from betting upon the result or any other aspect of CCL matches.
Whilst I have no doubt that, if it happened it was done quite innocently, this subject has been mentioned upon the unofficial CCL forum recently and could result in serious consequences were the Football Association to take up the matter. More than one player has been banned in the past for betting upon matches in which he has been involved.
More information can be found on the FA website at http://www.thefa.com...egulations.aspx whilst a specific booklet issued by the FA can be found at http://www.thefa.com...ing Booklet.pdf
The booklet includes the following, which makes the position clear.
Betting includes the backing and laying of outcomes of matches and competitions. It covers a wide range of bets, including in-play betting and doesn’t just cover the end result, for example, spread betting.
The Rules
• You are not allowed to place any bet on a game involving your club;
• You are not allowed to place any bet on a game in a competition (such as cup competitions or the league itself) in which your club plays;
• This includes competitions that your club is due to play in but has not yet started and competitions that your club has been knocked out of;
• You are not allowed to place a bet on a game or competition in which you have any influence, either direct or indirect;
• You are not allowed to bet on any under 18 match;
• You are not allowed to ask or instruct anyone to place any of the bets above on your behalf;
• The above includes all bets related to the following:
– the result of a particular match, matches or the competition itself;
– any events in the progress of a match or matches (for example, number of red/yellow cards, corners etc);
– any other events involving your club or other clubs playing in the same league competition (such as next manager markets).
• All Players registered with a club are deemed to participate in every match played by that club, at whatever level (e.g. first team, reserves), while they are so registered. So, even if you’re injured or suspended, you are still not permitted to place any of the above bets;
• All Employees of a Club are deemed to participate in every Match played by that Club while they are so employed.
I would suggest that this is brought to the attention of all players, managers, etc.

Went to a league meeting last night where The FA confirmed that no player or individual that's part of a club can bet on a competition that their club has been involved in...put simply you can't have even have a bet on The FA Cup final Pearcy :-)

Wembley aren't in our league, it was Eversley who beat us. If you can't get this simple fact right I don't think gambling is a good career choice for you !
