Does your club have in house fines for there players/management that are not just from the league for discipline during games an also off the pitch ie bringing the club in disrepute??

does your team have a first team fines so that end of season you go on a team bonding exercise or words to that effect??

We do although 'Henry' has slacked over the past two months collecting fines

The usual - Dirty boots , late. no flip flops or shower gel etc
Bookings for dissent also warrant a fine

Thankfully we don't get additional fines other than from the league (the club takes enough money from us as it is   )

We do have a 1st team kitty for lateness, no tracksuit, last player to respond to texts which has built up quite nicely so looking forward to an end of 'bonding session'!

do you think that doing your fines brings good banter an togetherness of your squad or do you think its a bad thing an has the opposite effect?

We do fines Newby and it's great for banter etc. I think it's great as long as the money raised goes towards the players that contribute. I raised a few quid for RPV when I was there and after leaving them they bought training lights for the outside pitch.

We also have a bright yellow t-shirt with TAXI written on the front. However this has disappeared recently after a certain player got it to wear after the game. Players have to wear it after the game if they do something bad durin the match. I would have had last week for an air shot that then lead to the second goal for Spelly.

I do the fines at Farnham. All the standard ones are £2 and there's a few big ones that are £5. However this month has been named "double fines Feb"!  So far we have over £900 in the bank and at the end of the season it will all be spent wisely in Magaluf again!

Along with the norm pound fines we also do a scratch card of which must be completed before any players can leave the clubhouse be it home / away. Its £2 a go which adds upto £40, the winner gets £15 so its a good £25 each game that goes into the kitty. Furthermore we have a word of the day which carries a £1 fine each time it is said. Must admit " REF " has cost me a few quid ! Last season I think we had about £1350 at the end of season and considering we pay £35 every week to use the astro turf for training I think that was a decent amount raised.
