Newby, I had this condition and had operation going back ages, in hospital overnight and out next morning
Limping around for a week, then gradually start walking which increases steadily eventually to jogging etc...
Back playing within in 6 weeks..

thanks gf!!!  had a slip of the hand yesterday standing in all my glory lol weird he put his finger in the loose skin area left side of groin an into the hole that has effectively appeared weird sensation when actually hitting the spot bang on though!! :(

Op went well as per simon marsh the specialist apart from collapsing on fri morning one minute up an ok the next three feet away on me back spoke to rich butler who had a double op take my hat off as this is painful ;)
