For info: I have just sent this memo to clubs (as the snow rages here in Staines)
In view of the continuing adverse weather, home clubs are advised that if they feel there is no possibility of their match going ahead on Saturday 11 February, they may call the game off on Friday 10 February without the need for a pitch inspection, subject to the agreement of their match referee, who must be the first point of contact. It will not be necessary to complete and return a postponement form on this occasion.
Please only do this if you are certain that the match cannot be played. If you think you can get your match on please make every attempt. You may be rewarded with a higher attendance than normal.
Please advise all postponements in the usual manner.

Absolutely. Great timing as well. And I am being sincere.
Stag Meadow was looking good yesterday but I have absolutely no idea what effect the overnight snow will have had. At least I have been able to put back the printing of the programmes to tomorrow morning just in case.

How many do you print normally?

For home league games we print in the region of 100. Been a fair amount of guesswork though throughout the season as we genuinely had no idea what level crowds we would be getting. Considering the range of attendances this season, we have gone from a low of 130 up to a high of 284. I am not including the Egham Town game as that was a complete one-off and a special full colour 48 page edition was produced.
