Probably, but why should that concern you,  Clubs need revenue to survive at any level.Croydon Athletic many years ago,had 3 junior teams play every Sunday on the Main pitch, was a great earner.

Im just interested whats wrong with that !

If thats true about the number of clubs that play at Cobham, my comment which has been mentioned to me also, is the reason for such a poor pitch !

Read my post before shooting yourself in that holey foot of yours, I quoted '' but thats where Cobham earn their finance''.... did YOU say I was irritant ........ lol !!!

That might not be how they pay their players though NG!!!

nice guy DFC can have a reserve side and still groundshare I think. id hope that decision was made by coaches not accountants

Erm not too sure TSF 'cos if Dorking have a reserves, they will need to play somewhere else other than at Dorking on Saturdays and midweek should Dorking groundshare with another club ?

depends on who they shared with.  Wanderers would make sense, get both reserves playing at boxhill earlier kick offs  and get them to use the meadowbank clubhouse after their games and watch second half.  if somone wanted to watch the reserves its not a big trek back to m'bank.
wouldnt work for Guildford.

Why Nice Guy ?  Where do MV reserves play ?

To be honest I dunno Krooontzz !  Do they play at Cobham as well ?   If so no wonder the pitch is in dire straights (how many teams play at Cobham ...also someone like Blazers / St. Andrews youth ?)........but thats where Cobham earn their finance to pay decent money to some of their players certainly for a CCL Div. 1 team !

Pretty sure Cobham don't pay any of their players NG. They didn't have a budget last year under Damien and I don't think that's changed.

Foxy they DO pay their players, some on decent money for CCL Div. 1 -

Jurg its hard to see where else Cobham can get their revenue from ?  The clubhouse seems poorly run with only bottles of beer and not used to its potential.  Not sure about sponsorship or maybe Chelsea have helped them out.........lol !!!

Silence seems to be golden when you are asked to identify yourself, NG ;)

Pity you didn't come to Badshot Lea v Sandhurst last night, as In the Know was there so you could have asked him face to face how much they pay :)

Im always there to be seen and spoken to at CCL games.  Infact I'm sure I've spoken to forumrites but don't know who they are, it doesn't concern me. .  I've had people speaking to ME asking if I knew who this Nice Guy is ..........had to chuckle......if only they knew.....quite complimentary actually !!!

I spoke to a Guernsey supporter last night, don't know who he was, but he also asked if I knew who this Nice Guy fella is.......!!!

Go to Badshot ?  I probably wouldn't be allowed in by The Bouncer as my names not on the list........ha ha !!!

DON'T YOU JUST LUV IT !!

DFC in the speculation stakes again.  It's only taken a couple of seasons.

Nothing is decided and cast in stone.  Ideas and possibilities are being discussed at the moment.

All will be revealed in the fullness of time..............

Unless of course that super dog-scoop, NG tells us all first !!

One things for sure - I'll know before you lot, and as the Nun said to the Bishop, 'My Lips Are Sealed !'

This one really made me laugh spursfan.

Dorking and Dorking Wanderers don't get on. At all.

Now I'm not close to the Dorking brains trust, but we held our regular Memorial Tournament at Meadowbank last year in honour of our much respected and long serving Secretary Dave Wilson who died in 2006.

I was given the job of organising the event so we wouldn't keep losing money, and we always decide the teams involved. Obviously there was us, and Molesey were holders, although we would have invited them anyway as they have been very supportive of our tournament, appearing in all five so far.

Clearly as hosts, Dorking were the third of the teams invited and a suggestion was put to a certain person with much influence down at Meadowbank that the fourth team invited could be Dorking Wanderers as this would boost the opportunities for a bigger gate and more revenue, both to us on the gate, and to Dorking on the bar takings.

He didn't want to know and more or less told us that we wouldn't be inviting them. So we asked Bookham instead who were more than happpy to attend, and of course won it this year. The attendance wasn't so big though.

I would imagine the chances of Dorking and Dorking W getting together on anything except maybe a firing range are pretty remote. :D

No, you were second choice after the organisers, hosts and holders were invited.

Second is pretty good out of fifty clubs we could have invited, wouldn't you agree? :D

oh really, I had no idea of any animosity.

I wonder how that started as wanderers previous guise shared down there I thought?

and our manager was down there and gets a few players.

cant think why there may have been any problem....as bjr says nothing is cast in stone...

Just as an aside, IF Wanderers have a free Saturday, some of their players/supporters do attend a DFC/Bookham home game, and indeed, DO use the bar facilities !
