Great idea Weebs, I'd pay my own way just to know we'd probably get a couple of hundred plus and make a mint for the charities

Nice also to know that after Weebs, Smudge and myself froze our gonads off it was all well appreciated, well done to all again

A trip to Guernsey could be arranged as I tried before. It would cost around £150 per head with a stay over. I'm sure everyone who has experienced it already would agree it's well worth it.

Suggest you contact Steve Dewsnip (Chairman) and see if GFC are interested in helping.

The game against Guernsey will definitely attract more much needed funds for the chariries possibly at the end of the season.. The event would certainly gain more PR and coverage, so really bar the cost its a win, win situation.  For the high profile Guernsey are attracting it would also be in their best interest, only one thing, I feel that Fan Focus XI have a charity and Guernsey have a charity then devide the donations between the two.

YV Mr. Organiser will sort everything out I'm sure !
Good Luck

There are plenty of good Charities in Guernsey (like everywhere else) one that might be good is Help a Guernsey Child that gets a lot of support from our local Commercial radion station (Island FM)

It will depend on how many would want to go. Had everything sorted last time but not enough bodies. It would be a summer event so would be a good weekend away.

If your up for it add your name ;

Would it be worth speaking to sportingbet, Gurnseys sponsters as well. We all know companies like a bit of coverage for good causes and they might be able to add a sizeable donation to help the cause?

Yeah, I think if you let Guernsey / sponsors know about the concept ('Best of' CCFL team v Whoever) they might even pay for all the flights etc over, as per other games.

After all, Guernsey are used to beating (nearly) everyone, so it could be a good event to see if the best the CCFL can offer can beat them easily? ;-)
