a simple question..
Why do the league put up with them??

Another faked result posted by them and had to be corrected!

I agree and posted on the scores thread earlier. Something should be done about these jokers.

What ever happened with the match late last year kicked off and things got way outmof hand according to those present, inc. some league officials?

At best, they think it's funny and so hopefully the league should inform them otherwise and warn them that they risk some sort of censure (is there anything in the rule book?).

At worst, they are deliberately trying to cheat in which case they should be kicked out of the league.

I don't think Guernsey would throw a game for them or any team!

Gilesy, I heard that also...was told the other day that Guernsey do not want kilburn over there and the league told them they would be fined and have points deducted but as they are so far ahead they are willing to do that!! I wonder if there's any truth in that?!?!

I think the fake result posting is the least of the problems as far as I can see. I've read enough in forums about on and off field behaviour to see there appears to be a "discipline problem" with this team, to put it nicely.  It's sad when the vast majority of clubs in the league are well run and full of good hard working volunteers. It is disrespectful to all these teams to have opposition who take the **.

I can't see that rumour being true, not heard anything in Guernsey about this.

I think there are some players upset with the manager and would think it is them that are phoning results through in order to get them in trouble.

Would be interesting to know how they compare with others. I would hazard a guess there are other teams in this League with poorer disciplinary records (based on yellow / red cards)

I see the 7-2 was copied into the NLP today, has that happened with the other fake results as well?

Oh, that is such a shame.. Can anyone look back and confirm or otherwise??

Sadly we cannot get the NLP over here in printed form and I hate the online version. I tried 3 month trial but when that expired I lost them all so I can't even look back at the ones I paid for...that does not happen in the printed form.

If you ever want copies kept for you Maisie, let me know. There isn't usually much coverage of this level though.

Don't believe this rumour, we will treat South Kilburn exactly the same as every other team we have had over. We will show them respect and give them a great welcome.

We're not going to give you any free points Newby ! lol

When we played them away they were fine as well. During the match I was chatting to one of their fans all the time and after the game I had I chat with one of their centre backs and their goalkeeper. Both seemed like great lads who loved the game of football.

I need to clear a misapprehension concerning South Kilburn.  The League was also puzzled as to why the results were consistently wrong and, having looked into it, it would seem that the person texting them in has been trying to give too much information, in particular, by including the date of the match, which has confused the system, resulting in an incorrect scoreline.  Our Vice Chairman is in the process of correcting them but we are satisfied that it was not being done maliciously.

As to their discipline, because it obviously has been a concern to other clubs at times, I confirm that they have appeared before the League Management Committee and have been advised that further incidents of the type we have seen could lead to their expulsion from the league.  That, of course, would require an EGM and a vote by the clubs.  Since then though matters have improved considerably.  The specific on-field offences are, of course, dealt with by their County Association.
