A MyFC member and long-standing Fleet fan has tried to put together a proposal which would give MyFC proper representation on the EUFC Board, to reflect the fact that MyFc is the majority shareholder. He has come under pressure to ensure that any such representatives are chosen from the current MyFC Society Board members. Now, I would have thought that a completely different skill-set was needed, wouldn't you? When the recent MyFC Society Board elections were held, people didn't think they were voting to put people on the football club's Board as well.
I love they way they work things on there .... grin

There has been a feeling on MyFC that we are not running EUFC.  Okay the MyFC faithful get tossed the odd titbit to keep them amussed like picking the who supplies the strip and which one the players will wear next season, picking who cooks the burgers etc.  There was “terrace talk” that may be MyFC were not running anything!  There has been claims and counter claims that the Society is running the club, the Society Board is running the club, Kilcullen and his side kick Edwards are running the club.  Anyway one member got feed up with this and proposed that as MyFC owns 75% of EUFC their representation on the board should reflect this.  Currently one person from MyFC attends EUFC board meetings.

The proposal required 48 seconders and is currently sitting at 90.  However nothing is ever simple on MyFC and debates about who should the representation consist of, what colour socks they should wear and so on appeared in 10 pages of the thread.  Finally MyFC is on the verge of doing what it says on the tin, but only if the bloody members stop burgering about and get on with it!  Time is fast running out for MyFC and EUFC.  I hope this proposal is implemented sharpish.  If it upsets employees or minor shareholders of EUFC, at least we will know who has really been running the club in the last 12 months!
