Southampton Town in serious financial difficulties. A cautionary tale of one company owning the Ground, another running the Club!

Saints is another club that has lived in dreamland for too long as far as economy is concerned.
There will be more clubs to follow shortly for sure,if one is looking at how the economy has been mishandled at many places.
It will really start to hit home close season and next season.

Saints have struggled ever since moving to their new stadium.

The club has been grossly mishandled by incompetent people at the top.

There might be a lesson to be learned here..somewhere.

It seems if the club goes into administration they can't be docked points, as said above - One company owning the ground, another running the Club.

The fine though, could then be very substantial.

Regarding Myfc and Eufc..things has now gone the ways it had to.

There is noooo money. When there is noooo money, then it´s all about saving the football club.

Talks on meetings might be nice, but it doesn´t solve anything.

A strict and 100% TOTALLY realistic budget should be set up immediately..no frekkin unrealistic expectations regarding incomes and all that .... we have seen in the past.

The club should then stick by it..through thick and thin. The only way the club can continue the ways it have been for the last several years is if there are another potential buyer out there that is willing to bankroll the spending spree.

It doesn´t seem that BK is willing to step back..and that means this club now has to start living within it means.

Eufc is a local club for the local fans. The economical numbers should be easy to predict in a decent and REALISTIC manner.

DO it,then operate towards it.

If not..Eufc will die.

It is not a matter of being competitive on the field next season. It is a matter of being able to field a side.

Eufc is in no shape or form a sustainable BSP side.It needs to be said..and understood. The club has never been able to even remotely finance such a situation. The unsustainable dreams and the unsustainable demands needs to stop..it needed to stop yesterday.

No more fulltime b...,no more spending money the club has no chance of having. All that b... needs to stop, immediately.

The budget will reveal the right environment for which Eufc should look for to slowly try and rebuild again..on true foundations and with some real security regarding the existance of the club.

Start now,now,and..now.

If not..this club will die.

The time to call the hand of BK is now IMO.
It is the hand that holds all the aces(money).
IF BK is ready to step in once again in order to save what is his local club..the time is now.

It can be done in an easy way via Fleet trust for example.

THAT would save the club short term..longterm though the club simply MUST come to grips with the way the club is runned.
Continue on the path of 60K+ monthly operational losses will be the death of the club somewere down the line...at best.

Reading what goes on now makes one despair regarding the whole future of the football club Eufc.

Now,everyone knows that the situation for the club really is what I and others have said for months AND months AND not to mention..more bloody months!

People need to realise ONE thing here..the clubs entire existance is at stake here. The actions that needs to be taken IMMEDIATELY must aim LONG TERM.Forget all about next season with stupid moves like Friends of the Fleet and other imbecill things that everyone with any sense at all can see won´t work anyway.

The clubs entire existance is in great jeopardy here..make no bones about that.

The actions taken must happen NOW!They should have happened looong ago when everyone who had minimum one working braincell left could see what the future was going to be for Myfc.

The club MUST start NOW to live within it´s means..it is either that OR the club will die.NOTHING else will help the club to a sustainable future.Forget all about different collections and beggings and Friends of the fleet stuff and other non working things.

The ONLY way forward for the club is to start living within it´s means today..now..PRONTO!

Who cares if the team fielded next season won´t be able to win a single point?

The very one issue IF the club will be able to field ANY team at all for the FORESEEABLE future. That is the one issue of real importance now.

Everyone needs to stop dreaming right now,or the club WILL go under.IF the club is 40K short each month..deal with that NOW.

Field PASE kids if you have to next season..and the seasons after that. That is not a problem.

You must realise you simply cannot continue to deny simple economics anymore. You continue to do that-and Eufc WILL die.

Do what you have to do to break even next season, and the seasons after that.No one can afford ANY other considerations.

Forget thinking about the results next season-and start to REALLY do what you have to do TO SAVE EUFC FROM DYING!

The trouble is MyFC and Killcullen have finally admitted there is a problem, but they are still blaming everyone else but themselves!

What is your problem with BK, Les.
Without MYFC or Brian , you wouldn't have a club or anyone to moan about.

Gaz,
The problem is that the heirarchy with EUFC and MyFC have waited until it is too late to do anything to fix the problem. Action should have started at the latest back in December to possibly correct the problems (even then it was 5 minutes 'til Midnight to find solutions to save the club). If steps were taken back then, possibly fewer of the 20,000 people who left in February would have left.

HG's views have changed somewhat since the masters at Stonebridge decided to give him the heady rank of Moderator. Go back to last season and check out the number of times he criticised the Club and just about everyone who ran it, including Liam Daish, who's rearend he now chooses to kiss .Every team, Gaz criticised it, every tactic, Gaz criticised it!
Turncoats are ten a penny on the Ostrich Farm!

Difference between you and me Les, I pay good money to see and cheer on the Fleet - which gives me the right to criticise where I see fit. You pay nix, sit and moan from 4000 miles away and live in the bygone era of the cloth cap brigade and the grassy bank of Stonebridge Road.
Haven't actually seen any useful and contructive from you, either, apart from endless bleating about MYFC.
They are our "owners", like it or not. Live with it.
Suggestions on a postcard?

You continue to try and belittle me. You know I left England 9 years ago, so why all the cloth cap era, grassy bank [****!!****]?

Suggestions on a postcard?
I think you should change your moniker to RSlicker, seems very apt with your sucking up since becoming a moderator!

The club STILL doesn´t have a decent budget to relate to,one that is based on reality and how things really are.
It is incredible..I am lost for words really.
When was the last time the club had a decent budget made up?

Fair enough living in fairytale land IF having a sugar daddy taking care of real world things via his wallet..but for things to have come to this..it is one of the most blatant incompetent things I´ve ever seen..in all walks of life.

A decent budget should have been made a year ago at least.People had their heads in the sand instead.

There is STIIIIILL no budget for the club that has it´s foundation in reality..why?

Do it this week FFS!It is NOT rocketscience I promise..just + and lots of -.Balance it,and get ON with it.

I am sure the squabbling and BS will continue til there is not a penny left.

It is without a doubt the single most incompetent thing I´ve seen.It is beyond words, the pure stupidity of it all.

It really is.
