Fecking joke....but never mind I expect they played well

Ash were decent going forward, with their no 10 pulling the strings! He is a very good player. Defensively we exposed then a lot second half, which resulted in 4 goals!

Big praise goes to the ash groundsman who somehow managed to get the game on. I'm sure any other club would have had it called off!

Alton are a decent side who I do not think will be down the bottom come the end of the season.

A big well done to AU for getting their game on.  All the unpaid hours people like him put in at clubs is fantastic.  Well done mate.

Egham Town 5 Horley Town whingers 0 SSC

Admission £6

Programme £1 decent value

Attendance 28(hc)

Coffee £1 Cheeseburgers were available at £3

Never any doubt about the game being played the pitch was a credit to them given the recent rain. Bit of drizzle about but nothing serious

Egham were the better side against a petulent Horley who I think had 2 players sent off. 1 for definite for 2 fouls in 3 minutes in the first half but the 2nd one I wasn't too sure about as he blocked a shot on the line in the last minute the ball deflecting fiercely into what the Egham website called the 'gentlemans area'. After treatment the guy hobbled round , Egham converted the penalty and the ref blew the whistle

Horleys manager never stopped moaning throughout the game and it spread to the players. Even after the game they were trading insults with the Egham players who sensibly walked away.Interesting that they were laughing in the warm down about how they'd wound the Egham players up. 5-0 lads and near the bottom of the CCL, no wonder with attitudes like that. Granted O'Toole for Egham could have been booked earlier but the Horley attitude stank.

Egham now at home to Walton and Hersham in the next round

Here you go, open to discussion.

Hope the guy who got hit in the groin area is o.k., made my eyes water just watching :-)

Just to say the lad that hobbled off wasnt sent off or even booked he just couldn't continue. To be honest we had 3 16 year olds and a group of young reserve players mainly, its about opinions and to be fair we just wanted some consistency from the ref. And I dont think that happened.

I was very happy with the performance to be honest as with 10 men we did very well to be only 2-0 down upto about 70 mins.
